Please complete your Parent Survey! The deadline is this coming Thursday and we would really like to win the movie afternoon and popcorn for our Camels! Please let me know if you need the link resent to you.
Wow what a week! We have really thrown ourselves into the space topic and have absorbed so much information about planets! Our ongoing project of making our models of the solar system as well as all the planets has really been a fantastic way of giving each planet the time it deserves. We have started our circle times with videos of each planet with some facts which we have stopped to discuss along the way. We have then solidified our knowledge by making that planet using appropriate materials and talking about the knowledge we have just learnt as we make it.
I have been really impressed to see how much the children have firstly, enjoyed themselves and secondly, retained the information.

Gem of the week went to Yeung! Yeung has been trying especially hard this week to be a kind, helpful, and hardworking member of the Camel Class. Well done Yeung and let's keep it up for next week!
Mr. Tiger went home with Hussein this week! Hussein has shown the Camels he can use his listening ears, eat his food quickly and sensibly, tidy up well, and be kind towards his friends. Well done and let's keep it up next week Hussein!

Next week we will continue with the last 2 planets Uranus and Neptune as well as have a recap of all the planets.
We will be making some astronauts and learning about Neil Armstrong and more on the moon.
We need lots of junk modeling please! Please bring in any cardboard boxes, small large anything! We need kitchen roll tubes, large plastic bottles, bits of cardboard or off cuts of wood, anything you can think of! We will be doing lots of imaginative construction to build our own space toys.
